Automatic Admission Policies

Students who are ranked in the top 10% of their graduating class at the end of their junior year will be admitted to any public college or university in the state of Texas*. 

*Students must apply before the deadline, submit SAT or ACT scores, and meet all college entrance requirements in order to be admitted.

*Students must meet all high school graduation requirements.  Starting with the Class of 2018, students must graduate under the Foundation + Endorsement with the Distinguished Level of Achievement and be in the top 10% for automatic admission.

*The University of Texas at Austin usually limits its enrollment to LESS than the top 10%.  Updates will be made here.
