Jeff Seeton

Jeff Seeton attended the University of Texas at El Paso where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Masters in Business Administration in 2000 and 2001, respectively. Dr. Seeton spent the first eleven years of his career as a Career and Technical Education teacher and Coach in Alvarado ISD, Katy ISD and Crowley ISD. Subsequently, he became a career and technical education administrator as the Dean of Students at Bill R. Johnson Career and Technology Center in Crowley ISD. Following his time in Crowley, Dr. Seeton served as the CTE Director and High School Principal in the White Settlement Independent School District from 2014-2022.

Jeff received a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington in May 2017. His major area of interest is the effects of Career and Technical Education on the secondary schooling experience. Additionally, he is interested in the role that career and technical education plays in mitigating success for historically marginalized and under-served populations. Dr. Seeton aspires to provide all school children with economically viable options that lead to becoming productive citizens when they graduate high school, whether they choose to attend college, enter the workforce, or both. Jeff has three children; Katelyn, Lauren, and Jack.
